Anthony DeMaria

Anthony DeMaria is a Senior Consultant within the firm’s Risk and Compliance Services Group. He serves closely held clients across the life sciences, energy, software and private equity sectors. Anthony is responsible for the execution of various client engagements in the overall internal audit, technology risk and cybersecurity space. The execution of these engagements entails extensive involvement in walkthrough meetings to determine key risks and controls to address those risks within the client’s environment.

Anthony’s background includes experience in various areas, including the planning and scoping of various Sarbanes-Oxley 404 clients, executing audit work through the evaluation of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and application controls for design and operating effectiveness related to various IT and business processes. He has developed and implemented multiple first-year client’s IT SOX programs, resulting in successful audit cycles. Additionally, he has scoped and performed NIST CSF 2.0 risk assessments, presenting findings and remediation procedures to executives. He is also responsible for delivering process and control improvement recommendations to clients based on updated and recently issued guidance by industry regulators.

Anthony has extensive experience with client onboarding, testing and reporting within Workiva. He currently has three Workiva certifications in configuring and using the Workiva platform to deliver effective controls management solutions to clients.
